The FANTECH protective welding helmet is equipped with a self-darkening module that allows the darkness level to be adjusted according to the user’s eye sensitivity.

For maximum protection during laser welding, a certified protective glass according to the EN 207 standard is placed behind the module.

The helmet is included as an accessory with every FANTECH welding machine, but it is also available for a separate purchase.

Detailed Description

Safety first: The FANTECH handheld laser welder operates at a wavelength close to 1080 nm, which is outside the visible light spectrum. As the laser radiation is invisible, natural self-preservation instincts won’t protect the user.

These beams can cause irreversible damage to the retina and cornea. FANTECH strongly recommends alway using certified protective equipment compliant with the EN 207 standard when operating the handheld welder.
