Experience with a FANTECH Laser Welding Machine

Why did you choose FANTECH?

We had been considering the purchase of a laser welding machine for some time. We were looking for a solution that would suit our type of production and that we could fully utilize in our daily operations. We compared several options, but FANTECH offered the best overall balance between purchase price, technical solution, and after-sales support. Water cooling was also important to us, as we use the equipment every day.

From the very beginning, we appreciated that it was not just about a sales offer. We had the opportunity to discuss our specific parts, production processes, and how we intended to use the laser within our company. Thanks to this, even before the
purchase, we were confident that we were investing in a technology that would bring real benefits to our production.

How satisfied are you with the welding machine and protective workstation?

Laser welding very quickly became a standard part of our production process. The equipment is intuitive to operate, and the welding process itself is significantly faster compared to the methods we used previously. We also appreciate the quality of the welds and the cleanliness of the process, which were the main reasons that convinced us to invest in laser technology. Among other applications, we weld thin stainless steel and aluminium components for the energy sector and heat exchanger stations, where heat input and subsequent material distortion are important factors. With the FANTECH laser, the need for subsequent manual weld repairs has been significantly reduced.

How was the communication and cooperation?

Communication and overall cooperation were at a very high level from the very beginning. We particularly appreciate the quick response times, open approach, and willingness to find solutions to the specific technical requirements that arose during the project.

We also received positive feedback from our welders. They particularly appreciated Tomáš Nyilfa’s approach during installation and training. The training was not just about learning how to operate the equipment, but above all about gaining practical knowledge and experience in laser welding. We appreciate his technical expertise, willingness to share his know-how, and ability to explain individual procedures clearly and understandably.

We are equally satisfied with our cooperation with sales representative Jiří Rak. Communication was professional, prompt, and transparent, whether regarding technical information, commercial terms, or the overall implementation process. Everything proceeded as agreed, without unnecessary delays, which is always a major advantage when introducing new technology into
production.

How did you hear about us?

Before making our final decision, we conducted our own market research and contacted several suppliers of laser welding technology. During the selection process, we compared the technical capabilities of the individual solutions, their suitability for our production, and the overall value they offered. After evaluating all the information, FANTECH emerged as the most suitable partner. The subsequent technology demonstration and personal meeting confirmed our decision.
