In the first article about FANTECH Europe, published in Automotive Magazine, the company introduced its innovative technologies and laser devices under the FANTECH brand. The article also included an invitation to visit the FANTECH Europe exhibition at the International Engineering Fair in Brno.
Welding a wide range of materials quickly, precisely, and at minimum cost – discover a new standard in welding with FANTECH laser devices. This cutting-edge technology delivers not only unparalleled precision and efficiency but also a completely revolutionary approach that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in industrial welding. Laser welding is used wherever perfect and flawless joints are required in a short time. See for yourself the quality of the devices suitable for medium and large companies as well as independent tradesmen at the International Engineering Fair in Brno, in Pavilion V.
Although a newcomer to the market, FANTECH is built on a solid foundation of more than 15 years of experience in the welding industry. These experiences, gained while executing demanding projects in the automotive, food, engineering, and manufacturing industries across the Czech Republic, Scandinavia, and other EU countries, have enabled the development of laser devices that truly meet the needs of modern industry. All FANTECH laser devices comply with strict EN certification standards, ensuring safety and conformity with European regulations.
“FAN – because we are fans, TECH – because we love technology,” explains Marek Čech, Managing Director of FANTECH Europe s.r.o. “My colleague from a previous job, now Managing Director and partner David Müller, and I have focused on aluminum welding from the very beginning. At the time, it was a rather bold decision, but it proved to be the right one. And that’s still the spirit of our business today. We monitor the market, listen to our customers, and are constantly seeking new technological possibilities. This mindset has helped us secure and maintain highly specialized projects with major clients, such as Lego. The demanding requirements of these companies are met particularly thanks to the precision and accuracy of our laser welding technology. That is where we push the limits, and it is exactly what we want to offer to other companies as well. We are aware there is strong interest in laser technology, and we can offer truly top-quality and perfectly tuned machines,” adds Marek Čech.
“Our goal is to offer products that not only meet but exceed our customers’ expectations,” says Sales Director Jiří Rak. “One of our key products is the FANTECH LWG 4.0 EXPERT handheld laser welder, available in 1,000 W, 1,500 W, 2,000 W, and 3,000 W power options. This wide range of power options allows customers to choose the one that best suits their specific needs. The LWG 4.0 EXPERT is a multi-functional device combining four functions: welding, cutting, remote cleaning, and weld cleaning. With welding speeds up to 120 mm/s, it is the ideal choice for executing even the most demanding projects efficiently. Optimized performance ensures precise welding of thin materials up to 10 mm without deformation. Another advantage is continuous operation without the risk of overheating or performance drop, thanks to water cooling technology, which significantly increases productivity. The machine is also equipped with a head with indication when protective lenses need replacing, simplifying maintenance and extending the machine’s service life. The control panel is of course available in English and other languages, with intuitive and user-friendly operation,” adds Jiří Rak.
“In addition to our highly efficient FANTECH laser cleaner available with continuous fiber laser in 1,000 W, 1,500 W, 2,000 W versions, and with pulsed laser in 100 W, 200 W, 300 W, and 500 W versions, we have also developed and are now manufacturing the advanced FANTECH AD.CNC 1325 automatic laser welding machine. This machine uses a fiber laser with a wavelength of 1080 nm and is equipped with a double oscillation welding head. It offers welding speeds up to 10 times faster than traditional ARC methods. With 4-axis motion, it handles more complex tasks and can be extended with weld quality control, workspace protection, and fume extraction. High precision is ensured by a focused laser beam with a small diameter and a high precise camera. These machines demonstrate our ability to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions for modern manufacturing processes,” explains Jiří Rak.
In addition to standard laser machines, FANTECH specializes in the production of customized laser welding workstations. Built from 60 cm-wide modules, these workstations can be manufactured precisely to the customer’s dimensions and needs. These workstations are designed to meet the strictest safety standards for all welding methods, providing maximum protection for both workers and machines.
“Technological progress is continuously accelerating, and it is essential to seek new solutions. We communicate with our customers even after the purchase has been made, providing both warranty and post-warranty service and technical support. This ensures we always have up-to-date feedback, which we incorporate into our development process. Our goal is to continuously expand and improve our product portfolio and to become a leader in providing modern welding and cleaning solutions that reflect the current and future needs of the Czech and EU markets,” concludes Marek Čech.
Throughout the year, potential customers can experience the advantages of laser devices first-hand in our showroom in Opava, using either already prepared or their own materials. Additionally, the quality, performance, precision, and speed of our machines can be tested before purchase at the International Engineering Fair (MSV) in Brno, from October 8 to 11, 2024, in Pavilion V. Company representatives and technicians will be presenting FANTECH laser welders in various power options.
